Under supervision, you can plan and implement
basic clinical care and evaluate and
document these. You can carry out
pharmacotherapy at a basic level. You
interact with people from different backgrounds
and health
and functional variations from a
person-centred perspective. You act in accordance
with
with
current directives and legislation. You work for
sustainable development in the sector (skills)

You anchor your professional identity in
the reality of healthcare and demonstrate a
interdisciplinary approach in your
professional role. You have a person-centred
approach (Approach).

Practical training 2 weeks (80 hours) in agreed
location according to overall learning objectives
and own objectives.

The student has attended the course Basics of
Caring.

The work shifts are made according to the
supervisor's and the unit's planning. 38h/week in
three-shift work.

The clinical practice assignment is done on
itslearning.
Reporting of hours worked and the evaluation
should be submitted to itslearning.

Vaccination certificates and investigation of
infectious diseases are followed according to
standard directives and the welfare area's
requirements.

In addition, the vice chancellor's decision 6/2020
on sufficient language skills in Swedish and
Finnish applies when a practiacal training is to
be booked.

Medication calculation exam completed no later
than 2 weeks before the start of the practical
training or according to the examiner's
requirements.
