Learning outcomes

Knowledge: You understand the meaning of the
concepts of health and health promotion as well as
concepts that relate to these. You know health
promotion theories, models and strategies and
understand the connection with health promotion in
practice. You know how health can be measured and
how health promotion activities can be evaluated.
You know the ethical guidelines within health
promotion

Skills: You can explain basic concepts in health
exercise and describe how physical activity and
exercise can promote health. You can explain how
to plan, implement and evaluate health promotion
projects.

Approach: You take a holistic view of health and a
salutogenic perspective in your commitment and
sees health as a resource in everyday life.

Exam 1 The basics of health promotion (4.5cr)
Exam 2 Health exercise and wellness (0.5cr)

presenter, reports and producer,
essays, as well as attendance on specified
occasions)

The examinations impact on the final grade as
such:
Examination 1 90%
Exam 2 10%
