The aim of the course is to become a swimming instructor.
The content of the swimming teacher training comes from
FSL (Finnish swimming teaching and lifesaving
federation).

Swimming instructor course performance requirements:

- approved teaching exercises
- approved indivuduall tasks (observation etc)
-diving for 2 objects from 4 m depth (2m), one
items at a time
- transport of people in distress with and without aids
-jump head first from 1m and feet first
from 3 m
- approved exams in swimming technique (breaststroke, backstroke and
crawl)
-passed written test

After completing and passing the course, the swimming teacher is
authorized to act as responsible swimming instructor in Finland.
