Competency aims
To give the ability to plan and perform care for ageing individuals undergoing changes in their pattern of health with the wellbeing of the individual as a goal
Learning outcomes
The student has a basic theoretical knowledge of human needs and care and of how diseases influence the aging individual as well as the theoretical ability to plan and perform basic care at home and in institutions with optimal functional independence with the well-being of the aging individual as a goal.
