Learning outcomes
After completing this study unit:
You can plan, dose, prescribe, assess and lead
appropriate health-promoting exercise sessions for
different target groups.
You can use rhythm and tempo in an appropriate way
and motivate and critically examine movement
choices in different forms of exercise and for
different target groups.
You can apply your theoretical knowledge in
exercise and therapeutic training when performing
and assessing different types of training based on
an individual's ability and needs.
You understand the structure and function of the
human body under physical load in different
conditions and can apply this knowledge.
You can guide and instruct in a motivating way in
different environments.

Assessment requirements
To pass the course the student should pass the
following examinations:
Examination 1: Passed target group analysis
Examination 2: Exercise for seniors: passed plan
and instruction demonstration
Examination 3: Water gymnastics: passed plan and
instruction demonstration
Examination 4: Lifesaving (passed/not passed)
Examination 5: Participation in Stafettkarnevalen
according to instructions (passed/not passed)
All practical activities have compulsory
attendance of min. 80%. Under 50% attendance of
practical activities cannot be compensated. All of
the tasks/parts in the study unit should be
completed and approved before a grade can be
registered for the study unit.
