Competency aims
The aim of the course is to create an
understanding of the structure of the human
body
and its healthy functioning, as well as to
understand the basic chemical background of the
functions of the human body.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student is
expected to be able to:
-describe the structure of the human body and
name the organs
in English and in scientific terms
-understand and describe the functions of the
different organ systems; the musculoskeletal
system, the circulatory system, the respiratory
system, the digestive system, the urinary
system, the reproductive system, the endocrine
organs, the nervous system, and the sense
organs.
