Competency aims

The aim of the course is to increase the
competence in

  • searching information and critically reflect on
    and manage information in the field of Health
    Promotion.

  • To deepen the competence in R&D (research and
    development) activities in the society. To plan,
    formulate aims and create strategies on different
    levels in the society.

  • You build up your knowledge and understanding
    about the concept sustainable development and how
    it can be implemented it in the society

Learning outcomes

After completion of the course, you are expected

-You can use relevant policy documents, and can
define and understand the central concepts in
Health promotion and well-being

-Understand the concept Healthy
Cities,sustainable development, capability,
universal design

-Can apply different methods and models for
health promotion activities in a creative way

-Can plan a Health promotion action. Understand
the project-process, how to create aims,
strategies and activities

-Know how to do evaluation and implementation of
HP-programes

Course contents

-Planning a healthy cities action
-To read and reflect on global and national
policy documents in HP to day
-And how this policy's are shown in the national
guidelines and in the community setting
-Learning about universal design and capability
Hp models and action plans
-Collaboration and partnership in HP
Sustainable development.
-Evaluation and implementation in HP
