Competency aims
The aim of the course is:
Healthpromoting leadership:
The student develops his/hers ability to apply
knowledge, theory in practical performance of
healthpromoting actions in orgamisations and
leadership at the workplace.
Sports management:
At the end of the course the student is expected
to have a glimpse in the workarea of the
federation, get insights in the worktasks that
are typical an specific in this paricular
workarea. The student is able to develop and
deepen her/his knowledge of the significance of
the workfederation in society and is able to
accomplish different tasks under supervision.
The student is also able to participate in
projects and worktasks
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to:
Understand what healthpromoting leadership is
about, understand HRM at an organizational level
and be able to create and perform
healthpromotive efforts and activitymodels with
the workplace as the arena.
Adminstrative pracitce / sports management:
At the end of the course the student i expected
to be able to understand the administrative work
and its meaning in different types of
sportsorganizations as workfederations. The
student learns what kind of role the
sportsorganizations have in the society, how
they work and what kind of challenges they meet.
The student is also expected to understtand what
kind of leadership i used and how the activity
is organized whithin the organisation.
Course contents
The student develop, plan, apply and evaluate
healthpromoting actions and tools at a workplace.
