Competency aims
The aim of the supervised training in working field
is that students are able to connect their
theoretical knowledge into practice.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to see their role in elderly care and
proofs his skills in supervising older people.
The student can see and apprehend her future role
as a professional in elderly care and gives proof
of supervisor skills in the form of supervising an
activity(the student plans and answers for a one
hours supervised activity with older people if
possible in placement)
The student can apprehend and describe
distinctions in health and ill-health among older
people and reflect over different resources
(personal, relatives, clients).
Learn to know the life stories and life
situations of the elderly and the consequences in
elderly care.
The student can treat the elderly with dignity in
a professional way
