The aim of the course is that the student:

- understands the national decision-making
process in
nursing and the basics of drafting a treatment
plan
- understands the need for multidisciplinary
information in decision-making
- knows the basics of drafting and processing
patient
documents
- understands the concept and significance of
evidence-
based action in nursing
- is aware of their student responsibility in
documentation

After completing the course, the student is expected to have basic knowledge for preparing a care plan and its significance for the care process.
