Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to have
-knowledge of the key concepts in health sports psychology and positive psychology (get to know the concept of positive psychology and what it includes)
-understand the importance of motivation, group dynamics, mental training and self-esteem so that they can use the theories in teaching and coaching in order to promote good performance and well-being
-understand the psychological mechanisms of changing health behavior
-knowledge and understanding of health behaviors in different groups (at the individual / group level)
-know-how to apply theories to be able to support individuals when they are trying to change their behavior (concerning health or sport performance)
-understand the importance of physical activity and opportunities for mental health and wellbeing in life
