Competency aims
The course contributes to develop the student's
competence in science and research including
following; to define a theme for developing of
caring, can apply scientific knowledge and
methods systematically. The student can read
research based literature and can interpret
them by using a theoretical frame based on
caring science. Furthermore the student can use
supervising adequacy.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is
expected to be able to:
-Write a thesis work based on scientific
methods
-Has capacity to logical and critical examine
and interpret thesis works
-Can present data based on scientific
principles
-Can argue for her/his statements

-Individual and group counseling
-Participation i five plan seminars
- Participation in ten thesis seminars
Note! students started 2006 -2009 are ought to
participate in twelve presentations (incl. the
own presentation and being an opponent), three
of these should be realized in other education
clusters.
