The aim of the course is that the student will
learn the proper use of reference materials for
improving his or her vocabulary and grammatical
accuracy in different professional situations.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected
to have the language proficiency in Swedish
required of public servants in bilingual
municipalities and needed to support his or her
professional development.
Languages used in the course are Swedish and
Finnish.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Swedish in school appr. 5 years or
Skill level at least B1.1 in the European
Framework of Reference for Languages.
If you have started to learn Swedish as a new
language in Arcada, you need to have accomplished
the courses Swedish for Beginners 1-4 first.
