Knowledge
-You know the components that form the basis of the visual narrative of the image. -You have an insight into the history of Western painting, the different time periods, the isms, and how collaboration with the present has affected the visual narrative. -You have an insight into how the present and technology have changed the visual narrative in film. - You have insight into and understand the background to the following concepts: "Study / Dot", "The theory of the complex image" and "Conscious errors"
Skills
-You develop the ability to communicate around visual narrative. -You can use the painting and still images for research and inspiration purposes. -You have the ability to vision the result before you can see the concrete and achieve the desired message and feeling in your own image creation.

Approach
-You understand the importance of your participation in discussions and analyzes to achieve personal and collective results.

Course contents

In the course visual storytelling we take an insight of painting's in research purposes. We deal with artists and their works that can serve as a reference in mowiemakers work. we
also allows a glimpse into the photography and get acquainted with image analysis in some famous photographers' pictures.
We also do a review of the dramaturgical structure to find a way to break down the script into images.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Introduction to storytelling. Introduction to media production.

Compulsory attendance is 80% of theory lessons
