Competency aims
The aim of the course is to learn the rules of working life and to
know the law
for bothmeployee's and employer's. It is also important to know
the
various negotiating mechanisms and to apply them to your own
industry.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to
- identify different policy methods and be able to develop their
own
part of the creative industry
- use the legislation for work-life
- Know the main principles of organizations and management
- Identify the social and economic linkages within organizations
operating in the
own industry
- Be able to evaluate the work community
Course contents
During the course we will learn about the creative industry for
cultural producers and other
cultural workers, mainly the media industry. The creative
industry is
changing (like society over
all) and it requires certain skills for the future. What does it mean
to
be an employee or an
employer and the rights and obligationsdo You have?
What is lobbying really, and how can I influence. And what about
labor laws?
