Competency aims
The aim of the course is that the student understands the value of the purchasing activity and that they can use important purchasing and inventory tools.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to understand the purchasing process and to understand the relationship between inventory- fix capital and purchase.
Course contents
The student works with separate purchasing and inventory tools as. ABC-analyses and purchase agreements and EOQ-models.
