Competency aims
The aim of the course is to explain the importance global trade has
to the global economy and to individual national economies, as well
as the influence on exchange rates of different national currencies.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to
understand the system of international trade and economics, why
trade balances and imbalances are of importance for exchange
rates and their influence on the global economy.
Course contents
The global market place, WTO and trade negotiations,
protectionism, free trade, exchange rates, hedging, managing
foreign trade, the documents of foreign trade.

Marketing, Microeconomics, Business Mathematics, Accounting
Additional information
Participants must be present at 70% of all sessions or more.
