The aim of the course is
- Become familiar with the concept of probability
and be able to
solve practical problems in the subject.
- Understand what derivative means and to use
in the calculations.
- Become familiar with roots and logarithms and
deepen their knowledge of differential calculus.
- Learn how to solve trigonometric equations
and become familiar with progressions.
- Learn to integrate and calculate areas and
volumes.

At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to
- Understand the concept of probability
- Perform calculations with simple
probability distributions, especially
normal distribution.
- Understand the concepts of limit, continuity and
derivative.
