The aim of the course is to
- give the student a picture of the legislation as a foundation of our society
- get the student to find, use and understand the basic legislation about working life and the legislation in their own professional field
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to
- use some basic legal terms and describe the court system in Finland
- explain how the European Union affects the Finnish Society
- describe the decision making system within local authorities
- give a brief outline about the legislation concerning working life and the professional field of the student
- describe how the legislation within the professional field is implemented
