Once you have completed the study unit you will have:
An understanding of life cycle assessments (LCA)
principles, standards and methodology that can be
applied to engineering products and processes.

Awareness of the relevance of accurate data acquisition
and models, the implications of the environmental impact
results. (Attitude)
Ability to utilize several digital resources and tools
for the LCA of products and whole life cycle carbon
footprinting of constructions projects. Ability to
interpret LCA and foot-printing results critically and
propose more sustainable solutions through scenario
modelling. (Skill)
