In this study unit the focus will be for you to

After completing the study unit, you:

functions are integrated and affect one another.
- understand the role of financial management in a
firm and how it can support various business
activities. You know the foundations of
decision-support with the help of financial data.
- understand the role of the finance department in
completing statutory tasks as well as providing
business support within the organisation. You know
the main principles for financial accounting,
cost accounting, investment calculations,
budgeting and the financial markets.
- understand the importance of adopting high
standards in conduct and communication
