Opportunities and risks as a professional
Opportunities and risks for the industry e.g.
technology entrepreneurs, banks, corporates,
financial regulators

Course contents
(1) The lectures integrate seminar sessions with
guest speakers to get an overview as viewed from
the perspective of the financial industry,
regulators, startups, investors and academia.
(2) Case study elaboration and presentation: in-
class and autonomous activities
Prerequisites and co-requisites
A bachelor degree;
At least three years work experience gained after
completing the higher education degree;
Deep interest in financial technology;
A technology background is not a hard
prerequisite for this course.
Recommended or required reading
Recommendations for related readings shall be made
throughout the course.
