Competency aims
The aim of the course is to provide basic
knowledge on the tourism industry, both globally
and locally in Finland. The importance and
impacts of the tourism industry will be
discussed, as well as the roles and challenges
of
different tourism actors. The student will also
become familiar with different attractions and
tourism regions within Finland.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected
to have a general knowledge on the structure of
the tourism industry both globally and locally
in
Finland, and to be aware of the key actors
within
this field. The student will be familiar with
various attractions and tourism regions within
the country.
