Competency aims
The aim of the course is to prepare the student to
work in the mobile industry as a developer so that
he/she can take into account business objectives
and produce a viable prototype.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able
to take an app idea and bring it to fruition
using design thinking and principles. They will
be able to break down their idea into its core
components and then build a working system
through iterative design and user testing
taking into account their end-users. They will
also learn to do market research and do a risk
analysis of the market against their current
design to deduce its viability so that they are
able to pitch it to future colleagues and
investors.
Course contents
The course will contain theory of designing
mobile applications, rapid prototyping, user

Experience Design. Have a fully tested
