To give the student a basic knowledge of German and the ability to manage in simple everyday and professional situations
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to
- know the basic principles of German pronunciation
- ask and answer simple questions about himself/herself and his/her family
- know the basics of German grammar
- understand the main points of spoken German when the topics are familiar
- know different time expressions
- communicate in simple café and restaurant situations
- discuss simple work routines
