Competency aims
Much of the most valuable data and information
resides in textual form. This course aims to
provides thrid year analytics students an
opportunity to get familiar with methods and
techniques for text processing and text
analysis,
and to develop their project work skills. The
course will help students to build competences
in
analyzing unstructured data.
Learning outcomes
Students will get familiar with important
topics
and basic concepts, method and techniques in
text anaysis, and develop hands-on experience
with natural language processing tools:
? Obtain knowledge of basic text processing and
text analysis functions
? Develop skills with NLP programming
? Be able to deliver results on small text
analysis projects
