Competency aims
By the end of the course the student will be
able to:
Develop knowledge of the fundamental concepts
within design research, problem validation,
service design and scenario building.
Students learn to use online based creative co-
creation tools.
By actively reflecting during the course the
student finds possibilities to utilize her/his
know how in real challenges and to utilize
multiple development approaches, to put the
knowledge the student acquires in school into
practice.
Develop their working skills as well in
multidisciplinary and international teams as
industry collaboration.

Course contents
Diversity begets creativity?in this module we
unleash the hidden potential of creativity by
studying and working together as collaborative
creative community. Together with
interdisciplinary teams of business, design,
engineering, art and social science students we
will explore how to unleash one?s creative
potential in a context of design thinking and
speculative design.
We study a wide range of methods for design
research, service design and scenario building
in interdisciplinary teams working with industry
driven cases. Students will also learn to use
online based creative co-creation tools.
Lecturers and facilitators of the module are
world class design thinkers and speculative
design & foresight experts.
