The objective of this course is to introduce students to the analysis and design of feedback control systems.
Learning outcomes
Having successfully completed this course the student will be able to:
- understand a block diagram
- identify processes from their transient response to a step input signal
- understand the functional principles of common industrial sensors
- understand how a PID-controller works
- design an analog control system
