Competency aims
The aim of the course is to learn students to see and analyze film and it´s characters as functional figures.
Basic vocabulary on dramaturgy is learned as a tool to talk about movies and manuscripts.
The student gets interested in history of film and television and understands its impact on contemporary film and tv.
There is philosophy in film.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to recognice some dramaturgical models as tools to analyze film.
Student knows about history of film and televsision and the technological development, conventions in narrative fiction and televison context.

A Lesson with some examples and underlying theory.
Analysing in working groups.
