The aim of the course is to teach the process of composite material service and construction rules
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to:
1. Calculate normal and shear stresses in joints
2. Dimension scarf-joint angle
3. Prepare and create an adhesive joint
4. Test an adhesive joint in compression and bending
5. Describe stress distribution in the joint as function of joint thickness.
