Competency aims

The aim of the course is to provide the student
with a toolbox enabling him to produce economic
evaluations of investments in energy technology.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is
expected to be able to:
- understand the need for analyses, and the
role of engineer in analytics
- understand various life cycle concepts and
their use in energy technology (enertech)
- recognize sources for financing of enertech
investments
- be able to calculate savings, operating costs
and investments for enertech projects
- master various types of profitabiliy
measurements and their application in enertech
projects

investments
5. Methods to calculate profitability of
