Competency aims
The aim of the course is give an overview of
different kind of housing types in Finland and a
theory about recent standards and codes around
energy efficient construction of buildings.

Preliminary: knowledge how to design with CADS
Student +
At the end of the course a student is expected
to
be able to understand different kind of
dwelling
structures which are mainly used in Finland.
A student is able to understand what is the
concept of passivhouse, zero-energy house and
plus energy house.
A student has the basic knowledge of
construction
design of detached houses and can design
principle
main drawings for a building.
