Competency aims

You can function professionally in your own field
in Finnish and you are able to adapt your language
to different communication situations. You have
tools and ability to develop your communication
skills.

If you have Swedish as your language of education
(education from Finland), you meet the competence
requirements of state officials functioning in a
position requiring a higher education in a
bilingual office according to the Act 424/2003
when you have passed the study unit. This means
that you are linguistically at least at level B1
according to the Common European Framework of
Reference for Languages (satisfactory skills). The
target level of the studies is good knowledge of
Finnish (minimum level B2).
