Learning outcomes

Once you have completed the study unit you will:

Understand the scientific foundations, chemical
structure, thermodynamics, phase equilibria, for
the behaviour of engineering materials such as
metals, polymers, ceramics and biomaterials.

Be able to relate engineering materials to
sustainability. (Attitude)

Have competency in performing calculations and
laboratory experiments relating to the chemistry
of materials. (Skill)

Science and Engineering" and lecture notes.
