Competency aims
The aim of the course is that students understand how editing has changed during history of film.
Students know "editing rules".
Student know the modern workflow.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to understand how film can be edited with different styles.
The changes in editing is presented from silent film to contemporary films.
Students get to know different type of convetions and rules, different ways to edit with different types of tools.
Course contents
Students can do the course in two ways:
A) Student edits a film that has been made on course Fiktion2. Student gets individual feedback.
B) Course includes lessons, assignments, presentations and practical exercises.
