Competency aims

The aim is to improve the ability to communicate in a professional environment (skills required in the professional context) and write academic texts.

Learning outcomes

In the end of the course the student i expected to be able to use his/her native language correctly in different professional situations. He/she is also familiar with academic writing in Finnish.

- presentations - language usage - academic writing - meetings and negotiations - business letters - application and CV - business texts - business vocabulary

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Upper secondary school Finnish (mother tongue) or similar knowledge of the language.

Notice that the course is not given the academic year 2012-2013. The course is given every second year. The course has compulsory attendance. The course is intended for Finnish speaking students.
