Competency aims

-to improve spoken fluency in business situations - to
encourage the student to become a critical reader, questioning
the content, finding the essence, finding hidden meanings and
- to increase the student's vocabulary in particular on matters
related to his/her field

Learning outcomes

- to understand, interpret, and explain business related terms,
without major difficulty
- to have developed his/her reading skills and acquired essential
business vocabulary
- to use dictionaries in an efficient way thus guaranteeing
correct and appropriate use of words and phrases in context
- to become a critical reader, questioning the content, finding
the essence, finding hidden meanings and messages

- to understand the main points of standard speech on familiar
matters regularly encountered at work, in school, at leisure

Spoken Production
- can give clear, rather detailed descriptions about the
organizational structure of a company, product components,
services or processes

- can interact with native speakers with a high degree of fluency,
can build business relationships, can take an active part in
