Competency aims
The primary aim is to develop English communication skills required in the professional context. The course also aims to provide the student with the necessary support in study skills (writing, researching, presenting) to succeed in his/her degree studies.
Learning outcomes

Course contents
Professional writing, Presentations
Review of language structures; effective communication; professional English (form, style, vocabulary); academic writing (the research & writing process); professional writing (business documents, correspondence, work applications & CVs, reports); business presentations.
Additional information
Attendance to all classes is compulsory. All graded assignments are subject to deadlines and must be completed BEFORE the exam.
Assessment is based on participation, completed course work and the final exam.
