Arcada UAS will change its student information system ASTA into a national service provider’s IT system called SISU.
All students’ information is stored in a student information system. It collects information about study rights, enrolments, study achievements, study plans, courses and course registrations.
The new student information system SISU is used by many other universities in Finland. The student information system is used by both students and staff. As a student you use the system when you e.g., register for courses.
In order to start the following academic year 2023-2024 with SISU, ASTA will be dismantled during next summer. This means that we will gradually start using functions in SISU already during the spring and summer of 2023. For students this will cause some changes that we will inform more about as soon as possible when needed actions and the timetable can be set.
