SIMHE Arcada information session for internationals trained abroad wishing to practice a healthcare profession in Finland on 7 March at 14:00-16:00
This information session gives you an overall view of getting your foreign qualifications in the healthcare industry recognised in Finland.
Our guest speakers, Senior Advisors Emma Liimatta and Reetta-Maija Rapo from Valvira, will walk you through the application procedure and answer questions. Valvira is the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health.
If you want to work or study in Finland and your qualification is from another country, you may need to get your qualification recognised in Finland. Professional qualifications are specific qualification requirements that you must have to work in a regulated profession, such as a doctor, dentist, nurse, midwife or a social worker.
The event will be in English. There will be an opportunity to ask questions in English and in Swedish.
