This page includes step by step instructions on how to make your tuition fee payment using our payment partner Flywire.

  1. Go to arcada.flywire.com  
    On the front page of the portal, please choose the country or region the payment will come from and make sure you fill in the correct amount that you are going to be paying.

  2. Select your preferred payment method from the options available for the country or region you have chosen. Options vary depending on the country or region in question.

  3. Provide all necessary payer information. The payer can be any person of your choice who has the necessary information to make the tuition fee payment. We do, however, recommend that you pay the tuition fee yourself as any issues with the payment will directly influence your ability to proceed with your studies.

  4. Provide all necessary student information in order for us to connect the payment to the right student. This information includes your full name, student number, date of birth and the name of your study programme. Any additional information can be provided in the "Information for payment" text box.

  5. Review and confirm the information that has been provided. If you are simply testing how the Flywire portal works, please do not go futher than this as it will initiate a payment in the system. All payments that have been initiated as a test rather than as a genuine payment clogs our systems and slows down the processing time of all genuine payments. Also make sure to cancel any unnecessary payments that may have been initiated.
  6. Follow the steps provided by Flywire to complete your payment through your chosen payment method. This may include sending money to an account outside of Finland but this is no reason to be alarmed. Flywire is specialized in the international transfer of funds which means that domestic transfers are not always possible.
  7. Student Affairs will send you a confirmation of the payment as soon as the funds have been received through Flywire. Please keep an eye on your Arcada e-mail.
