Follow these instructions when paying your annual tuition fee.

Please note that Arcada has a processing time of five business days from the time the payment reaches Arcada until the payment is registered in our study administration system. Please note that no tuition fees will be registered during the period 19 December 2025 –2 January 2026.

The tuition fee payment is made through our payment partner Flywire as of 1.1.2024. Flywire enables payments to be made through a wider array of methods, for example with credit cards or e-wallets, in addition to the more traditional bank transfer. Payment methods vary depending on the country in question.

The tuition fee for the first year of studies must be paid in one single instalment. The following years' tuition fee can be paid either in one instalment for the entire upcoming academic year or in two instalments; one per term. Please note that if you pay per term you will also only be able to register as present for one term at a time, and it is your own responsibility to make sure that this does not cause problems with Migri. We strongly recommend paying for the full year in one instalment if possible.

The deadline for the tuition fee payment for the autumn term is 15 August and for the spring term 15 December each academic year. You are not able to register as present for the term/academic year until Student Affairs has confirmed the payment. If necessary, please remember to apply for an extended residence permit before your previous permit expires.

NB! If you have not paid your tuition fee and fail to register as present in accordance with the deadlines, you will have to apply for re-enrollment and pay the fee of 50 euro.

If you meet the requirements for Arcada's scholarship, please wait until you have received the decision on your scholarship application before initiating your tuition fee payment. If you are not eligible to apply for a scholarship, you may pay the tuition fee at your convenience, however prior to the deadline.

Refund handling fee

Please note that all students, if applying for a tuition fee refund, will be charged 250 euros to cover the administrative costs associated with the refund process. The only exception from this rule applies to students whose status changes to non-fee paying. Please contact Student Affairs (studiearenden@arcada.fi) if you are in need of more information regarding the tuition fee refund process.
