Transferring study attainments from DIAK to Arcada
Fill out the form 6b to transfer credits for courses you have taken at Diak as part of the Arcada-Diak degree programme in Nursing. If you have other studies from Diak you would like to transfer, you should use the ordinary application for accreditation. Before you fill out the form log in to the My Studyinfo -site to create a shared link for your Diak study attainments. You can then put the link in the form.
Until November 15th 2022 the PURO service was used to transfer credits, but PURO is no longer in use. Study attainments that have been transferred using PURO before November 15 have been registered already in Sisu. If you are missing courses in Sisu that you have tranferred using PURO please contact Student Affairs.
Transfer of compulsory courses from Novia to Arcada
If your study plan includes courses at Novia UAS you don't have to apply separately for accreditation. It's sufficient to fill out Form 6b on this page to transfer your courses from Novia to Arcada. The easiest way to document your Novia courses is to log in to the My Studyinfo -site to create a shared link for your Novia study attainments. You can then put the link in the form.
Note, if you have taken courses at Novia that are not part of your study plan, you will have to fill out the form for accreditation to get these transferred to Arcada.
Military Leadership Education
Leadership education as part of Finnish military service can correspond to 5 ECTS credits of development studies. You must submit an application for validation via E-forms.
Please note that this only applies to students studying in the following degree programmes:
- International Business
- Materials Processing Technology
- Mechanical and Sustainable Engineering
Accreditation of exchange studies
A student who completes part of their degree at a university abroad must make a Learning Agreement in advance. The Learning Agreement is a study plan covering all study attainments that the student intends to take at the foreign university. The Learning Agreement is signed by the degree programme director, after which it is binding for Arcada.
If the student during his/her stay abroad realises that he/she cannot follow the Learning Agreement, he/she must immediately contact the amanuensis to discuss the changes.
If the Transcript of Records issued by the foreign university matches the Learning Agreement, the student does not have to apply for accreditation. The student only submits these documents to the Student Affairs Office in C3 for registration. If the courses performed differ from the Learning Agreement, the student must apply for accreditation in normal order.
