The pandemic situation has improved and the restrictions in society are being lifted. Arcada follows the same development and we welcome both students and staff back to campus.
In March, we return to a way of studying and working where we increasingly meet on campus again.
Teaching
From period 4 onwards, we aim to increase the amount of onsite teaching for all student groups. In all degree programmes, a survey of the study units during the spring are being made. When the survey is completed, more detailed guidelines regarding teaching will be published on Start week 9.
The goal is to be able to offer our students a “new normal” with teaching and learning activities on site. Of course, we also continue using the good, digital practices we have developed during the pandemic period – but now we focus on meeting each other in real life.
Check Start, itslearning and your Arcada email for updates on the situation and for details on your courses. Please actively follow Start for the latest information on returning to campus.
General recommendations
On campus, we continue to use a face mask in all situations in accordance with regional recommendations.
General hygiene requirements are in force: we will exercise good hand hygiene, maintain distances and not come to the campus if feeling ill.
The lunch restaurant reopens on 1.3.
If you have any questions or concerns about your studies, please contact your amanuensis. If you are feeling worried about returning to campus, our student support services can help you.
