What is good to consider when writing your CV and cover letter?
Wednesday 2 October, 15:30-17:00 with Business Finland´s Sr. HR Partner and Arcada Alumnus Eetu Lillrank. Your CV can take you all the way to a job interview. Join us at the Career Centre to hear what a hiring manager looks for in a CV and job application. The presentation part is around 30 minutes and after that we will have time for questions and discussion. If you have your CV and/or cover letter at hand, bring it along for advice and tips. The presentation will be in Swedish. Questions and answers also in English. Welcome!

Wednesday 16 October, 11:30-15:30 in collaboration with our talented photographer Ellen Blomqvist. Please dress in calm, neutral clothes that complement your face. Get inspired by wearing the same clothes you would wear to the job you are applying for. First come, first served! After the photo shoot, you will receive a free digital portrait image in your email.
Drop-in at the Career Centre for Arcada students continues every Tuesday from noon to 15:00 until 17 December. Career counsellors are available to discuss career-related issues. Knock on the door, no appointment needed.
We also meet with first year students in a Technology and Learning module to discuss career skills, career planning and career development and participate in various recruitment events during the autumn.

In addition to this, we will also help you with practical job search: how to make a job search plan, design your job search documents and identify different channels.
