Explore Startup Internship Opportunities – STRYV programme

The program allows students to complete their university’s required professional work placement while gaining hands-on experience in growing startups.  

Instead of traditional placements, students can join startup teams and contribute to real work in fast-moving environments.

Internships are offered by Finnish startups across different areas. 

Examples of work interns may do include:

• Building AI-powered product features at a startup developing a matchmaking platform
• Editing social media content and video campaigns for a Helsinki-based creative agency
• Supporting daily operations and customer experience in a hotel environment
• Conducting user research for a startup platform helping people access rare books

These opportunities offer real working experience, close collaboration with founders, and a unique opportunity to work with early-stage startups.

About the program

The program operates through the STRYV platform, where startups publish internship opportunities. Students create a profile, explore available internships, and apply to opportunities that match their skills and interests.

STRYV is an intelligent platform that connects early-career talent with relevant career opportunities. Through a unique profile, talents can showcase their skills, strengths, and potential, making it easier to get discovered and matched with junior roles. 

Who can apply? 

Students who: 

• have completed at least 120 ECTS credits
• have a minimum GPA of 2.5 
• study at  Arcada, Haaga-Helia, Metropolia, or Laurea University of Applied Sciences
• have at least one practical work placement left

 Application period: March 18 – April 12
