The Project Management Institute (PMI) is the world’s leading professional association for project management and the recognised authority for a growing global community of millions of project professionals and individuals who use project management skills.
In Finland, PMI has been active since 2005 and is run entirely by volunteers. The PMI Finland Mentoring Programme, launched in 2020, provides a valuable platform to support the development of students and young professionals, both personally and professionally.
The programme offers a unique six-month opportunity for individuals interested in project management (Mentees) to learn directly from experienced project management professionals (Mentors). Participation is voluntary and unpaid.
As a Mentee, you will gain practical insights and guidance through one-to-one sessions with a seasoned professional. Both Mentors and Mentees are expected to commit at least one hour per month to the mentoring relationship.
