Arcada University of Applied Sciences arranges graduation ceremonies twice a year (in January and June, for the graduates during the past six months).
Time and place
The graduations ceremonies during the Academic Year 2019-2020 are held January 24th 2020 15:00 and June 12th 2020 (NB! Postponed to 2.9.2020) 15:00. in Arcada UAS. As a graduate you need to be at Arcada 30 minutes before the ceremony starts.
NB! In accordance with the government's guidelines regarding the coronavirus, Arcada will postpone the Graduation ceremony originally taking place 12 June 2020. Instead, the Graduation ceremony will be held 2 September 2020 in connection with the Opening of the academic year 2020–2021. More information here.

Confirm your own and your guests attendance at the graduation ceremony January 24 2020 by registering in time. The registration link is sent by email to all graduates from the last six months prior to the ceremony. You can also register here.
The graduates proceed into the Big Square together in the beginning of the ceremony. The entrance is lead by the Rector and the Heads of the Departments. All graduates are requested to be at Arcada no later than 14:30 where the amanuensis will help you find you correct place in the procession.
No degree certificates are handed out during the graduation ceremony, but all graduates are given roses, a greeting letter and are personally congratulated by the Rector and your Head of Department. The ceremony takes approx. one hour. After the ceremony all graduates, guests and staff join in a toast for our newest alumni. Photographing will be arranged for those who wish.
As a graduate you are welcome to invite two guests to attend the ceremony. Unfortunately the number of guests are limited due to the amount of seats. Please confirm your guests attendance when you confirm your own participation in the ceremony.
