Are you proud to be an Arcada student? Would you like to share your experiences of studying in Finland with future international students? If so, you should apply to become one of our student ambassadors for the academic year 2024–2025!
As part of Arcada's international student ambassador network, you'll have the unique opportunity to help shape our student recruitment efforts, enhance your social media and presentation skills, connect with students worldwide, and have fun along the way! As an ambassador, you'll take on various tasks throughout the year, such as:
- answering questions about student life in the Unibuddy Community
- representing Arcada at an event, such as a study visit on campus, webinar, virtual fair or virtual Q&A session with new students
doing an Instagram takeover or writing a blog post - participating in the kick-off on Friday, September 6th.
Provided that you have completed all tasks by the end of the academic year, you will receive a retainer fee of 100 euros (and a certificate upon your own request). For detailed information on the ambassadorship programme, learn more on Start.
Welcome to our kick-off!
The kick-off event on Friday 6 September 14.00-16.30 is mandatory for all ambassadors. Everybody who participates in the kick-off will receive an Arcada sweatshirt. The kick-off will be held on campus in Cabinet Pacius (room E253 next to the Big Square). There will also be a follow-up session on Friday 27 September 13.00-17.30.

- Presentation of ambassadors
- “What does it mean to be an Arcada ambassador?” + Unibuddy, Axel Nurmi, International Marketing Specialist
- 14.45 - 15.45 Workshop with Mervi Hernberg, Entrepreneurship Coach
- 15.45-16.00 Photoshoot for social media
- 16.00 -16.30 “Being an ambassador on social media – how to convey your message successfully” Johanna Modig-Gräsbeck, Communications Specialist
- Friday 27 September:
- 13.00 - 17.30 Presentation technique with Björn Stenholm, organizational developer and coach
