Welcome to the Nursing TopUp programme at Arcada!

National TopUp (NS26-F)

This information is for students who already live in Finland and have joined our TopUp programme by participating in the on-campus entrance exam.

Instructions on how to start your studies and register for your courses will be made available here and sent to your e-mail latter in the spring. The sign-up period for your courses between 1 August and 10 August 2026, so make sure you have read the instructions before then.

If you had problems with the course registrations or have any questions about your studies, please join us for our online drop-in Q&A session on Teams on 13 August 2026 from 9–11 a.m . Degree Programme Director Terése Sjölund and International Student Advisor Laurits Møller will be available to answer your questions.

International TopUp (NSI26-F)

This information is for students who are moving to Finland and have joined our TopUp programme by participating in an online pre-admission course.

Your studies will start with an online introduction session. During the session you will learn about the structure of the programme and have the possibility to ask any questions you might have about your studies or moving to Finland.

The introduction session will be held by International Student Advisor Laurits Møller and Nursing teacher Craig Wilkinson on Teams on 3 September 2026 at 3–4 p.m. (Finnish time). Participation is mandatory.

Your on-campus studies will start in November. Your introduction days will be 10–11 November, followed by two weeks of intensive programme 16–27 November called skills week.

When you have received your residence permit and you know when you will be coming to Finland, please inform Degree Programme Director Terése Sjölund immediately. You will then be given the dates of your on-campus skills weeks. In connection with the skills weeks you will have introduction days where you will be introduced to your teachers and learn how to use Arcada's different digital tools. You must bring your own laptop.
